Single family house near Poznan is our proof that you can beautifully combine flat roof with gable roof. The modern form of the house has absorbed the garage, which often “bother” on the elevation. We designed the house so that the façade focused attention on the part of the housing rather than the technical.
We are fortunate to design houses on land plots near the forest. This time it was the same. The forest is on the back of the house, literally behind the fence. Behind the trees is a large lake.
The huge advantage of the house is that it is open to the mezzanine lounge, which not only enlarges the space but makes it more attractive.
So we opened the house from the back – to the nature. The front stayed a little conservative. We created a natural harmony between the two sides of the building. The flat part of the roof covers the technical area of the house and the private area, while the gable floor area is the cover for the day zone. The huge advantage of the house is that it is open to the mezzanine lounge, which not only enlarges the space but makes it more attractive.
The great advantage of the building is its construction. Despite the great span, there is no pillar in the living room. In addition, all gutters and downpipes were subtly hidden in the façade. The whole house is elegant, pure in shape, modern, and on the other hand, fits into the existing environment.
